The average contamination over the last seven days amounts to 338,052 cases, according to figures from the health authorities. In 24 hours, 249,448 new cases were recorded according to Public Health France (against 301,614 last Sunday).
Hospitalizations are progressing with 31,536 patients currently in hospital, against 28,838 seven days ago. On the other hand, the number of Covid patients in critical care services is slowly decreasing with 3,641 people against 3,760 seven days earlier. 127 Covid patients died in hospital (compared to 178 the day before and 115 a week earlier).
