The third week of the adventure ended for the Star Academy candidates with a bonus placed under the sign of childhood, Friday. Children aged 8 to 14 were in fact present on the set, to accompany the stars in the dance, in the choirs or on the instruments. The candidates, but also the singers who came to accompany them and the presenter Nikos Aliagas, then revealed photos of themselves as children.
James Blunt, one of the godfathers of the season, opened the evening by reprising his flagship title You’re beautiful with Candice and came back to sing later with Axel, best student of the week. The latter also won immunity for next week after a battle on Live for the best by Johnny Hallyday, during which he faced Héléna and Julien. While his classmates will take the assessment on Tuesday, Axel will go on stage at the Théâtre Mogador to spend some time with the troupe of the Lion King musical, in full rehearsals.
Lola eliminated
The big stage saved the evening a little, by allowing the production to offer superb settings, such as a romantic Paris, a recreated child’s bedroom or even a car worthy of Barbie to a song by Dua Lipa. Because the prime, brought forward by TF1 by one day compared to last week, seemed poorly rehearsed. The worst performance, however, is not that of a candidate but of Isabelle Adjani. Hands in her pockets, sunglasses on her nose, the actress did not share a great moment of complicity with Pierre on her title Draftsin addition to missing his playback.
At the end of a sluggish bonus, the three nominees still had to be decided. “Hands up”, Victorien was saved by the public, then the students gave their votes to Marie-Maud. It is therefore Lola who is eliminated and must leave the castle.
