, the earth shook this Friday, June 16 at 6:38 p.m. An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter is located 23 kilometers from Niort, in Deux-Sèvres, 36 kilometers from La Rochelle. The tremors were felt as far away as Brittany.
