What goes on in Didier Deschamps’ head and laptop when he tinkers with a list for a big event? Who influences the coach’s choices? Who does he confide in when in doubt, despite the force of habit? Pending the announcement of the list of 23 DD for the World Cup in Qatar, Wednesday at 8 p.m. on TF1, the almost investigative cell of 20 Minutes got their hands on a (fictitious) discussion between Deschamps and his staff. Where it is a question of the thorny problem of injuries, group life and the personal interests of players with sometimes cumbersome egos.
