Warning strikes at airports: Society must endure strikes – Economy

Airports, day care centers, and soon hospitals too: Because warning strikes are increasing in sensitive areas, employers want to limit the right to strike. This is utter nonsense.

The timing is not really surprising. At the end of last week, the Verdi union paralyzed several airports in Germany. The employers now promptly demand “legal regulations for labor disputes”, which translates to: restrictions. They argue with the financial damage and with the approximately 300,000 affected passengers who were “taken hostage” by the warning strikes.
