Fatshark has a new character spotlight for the upcoming cooperative shooter Warhammer 40K: Darktide released. The focus is on the class of the Zealot: Preacher. This melee-focused character appears to be very powerful and has a ton of different options in combat.
The Preacher can equip various melee weapons such as automatic pistols, revolvers, shotguns, flamethrowers, thunder hammers, battle axes, and power mauls. They also have high attack speed in melee combat and can defy death if they take lethal damage. Thanks to their unique ability, they can dash forward and attack enemies in melee combat, or use their agility to escape combat. In addition, the Preacher’s aura reduces damage taken, making him a valuable ally in battle.
All of these abilities make the Preacher a highly versatile fighter that will come in handy both in dealing with large groups of enemies and in taking out individual targets quickly and efficiently.
