Russia claims to have repelled another Ukrainian drone attack – this time over Voronezh, around 180 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. A girl was slightly injured.

According to the Defense Ministry in Moscow, Russia repelled another Ukrainian drone attack overnight over the city of Voronezh in the country’s southwestern border region. The ministry said on Telegram that three projectiles were destroyed by air defense. A child was slightly injured after fragments of a downed drone hit an apartment, the region’s governor, Alexander Gusev, also wrote on Telegram. The girl, who was born in 2013, has cuts on her arms, legs and neck.

According to Gusev, several apartment blocks and private houses were damaged. A fire on a balcony was extinguished and window panes were broken. Emergency services were therefore on site.

Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian war of aggression for almost two years. There are repeated attacks on Russian territory.
