A family from Kyiv now lives with Paula Tammi in Turku: a woman with two adult daughters and a small grandson. They spent one night and one day driving home from the Polish-Ukrainian border to Finland. “My husband wanted to go to war and fight the Russians,” says Paula in the Polish border town of Dorohusk. She definitely didn’t want that. The couple’s compromise: help.
