Can you seriously still produce in Russia while shells are falling a few kilometers to the west and the President is putting his nuclear forces on alert? Of course not.

Over the past few years and decades, they have come to Russia from the West, set up their factories and built refrigerators, cars and agricultural machinery in them. They created thousands of jobs across the country, in Saint Petersburg, in Kaluga, on the outskirts of Moscow and elsewhere. Over time, they became local giants, with German engineers working closely with their Russian colleagues. The whole thing was called globalization.
