War in Ukraine: Moscow claims to have prevented an incursion of “Ukrainian saboteurs” into a region bordering Ukraine

The Russian army would have intercepted a group of Ukrainian saboteurs in the oblast of Bryansk, close to the Ukrainian border, according to the governor of the region on Tuesday.

A group of “Ukrainian saboteurs” was reportedly intercepted by Russian forces in Bryansk Oblast, indicated this Tuesday on Telegram Alexandre Bogomazgovernor of the region, reports Le Monde.

These “saboteurs” were trying “to enter Russian territory” when Kremlin forces intervened, said Alexander Bogomaz.

“No one was hurt,” said the governor of Bryansk Oblast. “Industrial premises” and “a car” were damaged following “shell fire”, he also indicated.

Russian officials had already denounced, last March, the infiltration of a group of Ukrainian saboteurs in the Briansk region, qualifying it as a “terrorist attack”.
