The EU has already put together an extensive package of sanctions against Russia. Now the assets of oligarchs close to Putin are also being blocked.
The EU has imposed sanctions on oligarchs close to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Among other things, this freezes their assets in the EU, according to a publication in the EU Official Journal on Monday evening.
