Ukraine gets $1.3 billion from IMF over food crisis
Ukraine is getting fresh billions in aid from the International Monetary Fund from a new program to cushion food price shocks. The IMF Council approved the disbursement of 1.3 billion dollars (1.33 billion euros). The money was intended, among other things, to compensate for the loss of income from grain exports that were lost in the course of the Russian war of aggression, the IMF said. The IMF stressed that the Ukrainian economy is expected to shrink by 35 percent this year and the need for financing will remain high. At the same time, he commended the Ukrainian government for maintaining financial stability under the circumstances. The new IMF support program in connection with the food crisis was launched just a few days ago.

Governor: Ukrainian authorities discover mass grave in city of Lyman
According to the responsible governor, authorities have discovered a mass grave in the city of Lyman, which was recently recaptured by Ukrainian troops. It is unclear how many dead were in it, Pavlo Kyrylenko said in an online post. The Ukrinform news agency, citing a senior police officer, reports that there are 180 bodies in the grave. Ukrainian forces recaptured the town of Lyman on Saturday.
