In a carriage accident in the Swabian town of Waltenhofen, a 72-year-old man was seriously injured and a 71-year-old woman was slightly injured. The horses of the carriage suddenly shied and ran away, the police said. As a result, the vehicle went off the road, drove over a grass knoll and overturned. The man and the woman were thrown out, the horses stopped about 100 meters away. The police suspect that the horses reacted violently to donkeys that were standing on a property by the way. The man came to a hospital in a helicopter, the woman was driven to a hospital in an ambulance.
