It should be in May: Ming-Na Wen, who made a name for herself through roles as an agent or bounty hunter, will be honored on the Walk of Fame.

The US actress Ming-Na Wen (59), known from series like “Emergency Room”, “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” or “The Mandalorian”, is to be honored with a star in Hollywood.

The 2,757th star plaque on the famed Walk of Fame will be unveiled on May 30, the awards presenters said. Guest speakers include Wen’s castmates from the feature film Daughters of Heaven (1993), Tamlyn Tomita, Lauren Tom, and Rosalind Chao.

Born in Macau, Wen came to the United States with her family when she was a toddler. After studying acting and performing in theaters, she took part in numerous films and TV series from the late 1980s.

She played an agent in the sci-fi series “MARVEL’s Agents Of SHIELD” and was the bounty hunter Fennec Shand in the “Star Wars” offshoots “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett”. She also lent her voice to the iconic Disney titular character “Mulan” in the 1998 animated film.
