What sounds like a science fiction film is reality at the Thorax Center in Münnerstadt. Virtual reality glasses have been used daily in the Lower Franconian clinic for around three months. Rainer Haußmann, head of the anesthesia department, hopes that the glasses will speed up his patients’ recovery process and allay their fear of the procedures.
