Voyager Digital will be able to start distributing cash and crypto to creditors. “Within the next few weeks,” according to the official committee of unsecured creditors in a crypto lender bankruptcy case.
The company is currently completing the liquidation process after Binance.US withdrew its $1.3 billion deal to purchase assets.
“Voyager is internally finalizing everything necessary to distribute to creditors,” the creditors committee said.on Twitter “We hope that the first distribution will start within the next few weeks.
Voyager must first file its liquidation process with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The parties then have 10 days to oppose the plan. The company said it had more than 100,000 creditors when it filed for bankruptcy protection last year.
