Eight years ago, Wincent Weiss celebrated his first big hit with “Being Music”. Back then he was much more open and extroverted. But success changed that.

pop musician Wincent Weiss (31) is rather reserved outside of his job. “I’m very self-confident when I’m on stage, making music and being in public. But in my private life I’m very withdrawn and don’t talk all the time when we go out to eat as a group. I’m very reserved and shy “, Weiss told dpa.

This reticence also has a lot to do with his professional success. “In my private life, so many people talk to me and want something from me. As a result, at some point you withdraw and hide more and more.” Because of his success he became very introverted. “I used to be much more open and extroverted.”

The singer from Schleswig-Holstein, who celebrated his first big hit with “Being Music” in 2016, is back as a coach in the new season of the music show “The Voice Kids”. The first episode will be shown on the streaming provider Joyn+ from this Friday and will be shown on Sat.1 a week later. In addition to Weiss, Lena Meyer-Landrut, Alvaro Soler and Smudo and Michi Beck from the Fantastischen Vier are also there again.
