“Dear citizens of Russia, dear friends…”. On the eve of the presidential election, Vladimir Putin implores voters to go to the polls. “It is essential to emphasize our cohesion and determination and move forward together. Every vote is important and meaningful”, explains the president, in a video broadcast on Channel OneThursday March 13.
“I ask you to participate in the vote and express your civil and patriotic position, to vote for your candidate, a candidate of your choosing, for the successful future of our beloved. Russiaadded the one who should win a fifth term. Only you, Russian citizens, can decide the future of the homeland.”
Kremlin leader says all voters wanted to see a Russia “rich, strong, free and prosperous”. “We want a standard of living and a quality of life to improve. So be it”, he pointed out. And to add: “Those who participate in the special operation [la guerre en Ukraine] will also vote. They are an example for all Russians.” Russian voters must decide on the name of the future president, from Friday March 15 to Sunday March 17.
