STORY: Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently said in a BBC documentary that Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened him with a missile attack in a telephone conversation before invading Ukraine: “He threatened me and said: ‘Boris, I doesn’t mean to hurt you, but with a rocket it would only take a minute,” or something like that. But I think judging by the very relaxed tone of voice and the level of composure he seemed to display, he’s probably just going with it played in my attempt to get him to negotiate.” The Kremlin has denied the threats and denies that Vladimir Putin made these statements. “What Mr Johnson said is not true. More precisely, it is a lie,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Monday.
