VivaTech, one of the biggest tech events in the world, opens its doors this Wednesday

A 2024 edition to confirm the excellent 2023 vintage. With the tidal wave caused by the arrival of Elon Musk last year, VivaTech has reached a new milestone. The show organized by Publicis and the Les Echos-Le Parisien group stands at the Porte de Versaillesin the 15th arrondissement of Paris, from Wednesday 22 until May 25.

VivaTech has become one of the world’s premier events for the techno scene, rivaling the historic CES in Las Vegas. This year we will meet the boss of X, Linda Yaccarino, the Williams sisters invited by the social investment platform Shares, and even John Kerry, the former American Secretary of State.

Japan in the spotlight

A regular at the show, which he regularly chooses as the stage for these announcements concerning the tech sector, Emmanuel Macron will be absent this year, held back by the crisis in New Caledonia. He will not be able to speak with the French star of the show, Arthur Mensch, the boss of the French artificial intelligence champion Mistral AI.

There will obviously be a lot of talk about AI throughout the show. A theme that the show combines with the fight for the climate, attempting to reconcile two issues that the energy question tends to oppose. The edition will also be an opportunity to discover many Japanese start-ups, the country being the official guest of this Vivatech 2024. A show to follow throughout the weekend on our site and our apps.
