The pre-match is very tense in Marseille. A few hours before the kick-off of the semi-final second leg of the Europa League Conference between Marseille and Feyenoord (9 p.m., to follow live with commentary on our site), numerous clashes erupted around the Stade Vélodrome. Gathered on the Prado beach, the 3,500 Feyenoord supporters present in Marseille left the premises for the Vélodrome at 6 p.m., before meeting up with Olympian supporters.
Clashes then broke out, forcing the police to intervene with tear gas. An intervention which made it possible to stabilize the scuffles before returning to the Olympian enclosure, already amputated from its North Bend for the occasion.
