Vingegaard, Evenepoel, Roglic… the medical assessment of the fall during the Tour of the Basque Country

The heavy fall that occurred on Thursday, during the 4th stage of the Tour of the Basque Country, could have been dramatic. Several runners fell after poorly negotiating a turn on a descent. The images were impressive and could lead one to fear the worst. Ultimately, the results, particularly for the outgoing double winner of the Tour de France, Jonas Vingegaard, are almost reassuring. Their season will, however, be seriously impacted.
