Heavy rains fell during the night from Thursday to Friday and continue to water Alsace. The north of Bas-Rhin is particularly affected this May 17. Several roads are partially flooded and closed to traffic. The municipality of Diemeringen was particularly affected.

The orange alert from Météo France was extended until Friday 10 p.m. on the Bas-Rhin, and the Moselle was classified red. Northern Alsace is the area most affected by this episode, including the municipalities of Diemeringen and Sarre-Union.

• the A35 between Rountzenheim and Ropeenheim south/north direction

• the D1061 between Sarre-Union and Keskastel
• the D132 between Saverne and Lutzelburg
