It’s not the first case of this kind, but it’s the most dramatic so far: because climate activists from the “Last Generation” group blocked a bridge over the Elbe on Saturday, a truck driver in Hamburg lost patience and took vigilante justice. First he pulled one of the stuck, a 50-year-old geologist from Barnstorf in Lower Saxony, rudely off the road. Then he kicked the man lying on the ground in the stomach, as can be seen on video recordings.
