STORY: In a Twitter video, Wladimir Klitschko thanked the German population. For two days, the brother of the mayor of Kyiv campaigned on behalf of the Ukrainian government in Berlin for support for his country, such as financial aid, medicines or weapons. “The support Germany is giving Ukraine is remarkable. This support is commensurate with the horror caused in my home country by the war started by Putin’s regime.” In the video, taken in front of the Reichstag building in Berlin, Klitschko says Germany and Ukraine are united as never before because they stand together in defense of international law and the core value of freedom.
