Meanwhile, the British government has classified the incident as a terrorist attack and issued a security warning for the whole country, which means that the likelihood of another attack is classified as high. Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Monday: “This heinous attack urges us to remain vigilant.” However, Johnson also stressed that Britain would not allow itself to be diverted from its values ​​and lifestyle by acts of terrorism of this kind. Four men between the ages of 20 and 29 have now been arrested and house searches carried out. According to previous knowledge, the passenger had carried an explosive device. He wanted to be driven to the clinic, which is not far from Liverpool Cathedral. The driver was able to escape from the vehicle and has already been released from the hospital after treating his injuries. He had locked the passenger in the vehicle before he escaped and was killed in the explosion. Initially, no information was given on the motive for the attack.
