Video: Spanish police catch suspected art thieves and find pictures of Miró and Dalí

STORY: Investigators have tracked down suspected art robbers in Spain. Police announced on Friday that they had recovered two drawings by the surrealist painter Salvador Dalí from 1922. They were stolen in a burglary at a house in Barcelona last year. The value of the illustrations is estimated at around 300,000 euros. Experts examined the artworks and confirmed that they are originals. During raids, Spanish police arrested three brothers aged 50, 53 and 55. Investigators said the three brothers specifically targeted homes in affluent neighborhoods around Barcelona. During the investigation into the art thieves and the subsequent raids, the Catalan police said they also confiscated other works of art, including graphics by Spanish artist colleague Joan Miró, as well as luxury watches and valuable coins.
