Shots at police officers: Suspects presented to the magistrate
After the deadly shots at two police officers in the Palatinate, the two suspects were brought before the magistrate in Kaiserslautern on Tuesday morning. The police arrested a 38-year-old suspect in Sulzbach, Saarland, on Monday evening after his vehicle had been tracked down. According to the police, special units from Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland were able to arrest the man without resistance. Another man was arrested during a search of his home. It is still being investigated whether he is connected to the crime. Two police officers were shot dead during a traffic check on a district road on Monday night. The police then searched for a 38-year-old man.
