Severe earthquake in Iran
Two severe earthquakes hit the southern Iranian province of Hormozgan on Sunday. They had a strength of 6.3 and 6.4, as reported by state television. At least one person was killed. “I was at work when I suddenly noticed that the building was shaking very violently. At first we thought it would pass quickly, but then it took longer, about 30 seconds.” According to residents, the vibrations were also felt in Dubai on the other side of the Gulf.
A person was killed after a power pole fell on them, state television reported, citing local authorities.
