Several dead in coal mine collapse in Serbia
STORY: Several miners died in a mining accident in southern Serbia on Friday. About 20 other workers were injured when a shaft collapsed at a coal mine, local media reported. It was initially unclear how many miners were trapped in the shaft, citing the rescue services. According to the roster, 49 miners were working there at the time of the accident. The local hospital postponed non-essential surgeries to make room for the injured.
