Video: Selenskyj visits the front again

STORY: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited troops at the front in the south-eastern Zaporizhia region on Monday. He announced this on his Telegram channel. He also visited a residential building that had been badly damaged by Russian shelling. One person was killed and several injured in the March 22 attack. Against the background of a planned meeting with the head of the UN nuclear supervisory authority IAEA, Rafael Grossi, Zelenskyj again called for the withdrawal of Russian troops from the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. The plant’s personnel are under constant pressure from the Russian occupying forces, who are not complying with safety regulations and are interfering in the technical processes. In his late-night video address to the Ukrainian population, Zelenskyy called the Russian crackdown “radioactive blackmail” and the worst incident in nuclear power history. The Zaporizhia nuclear power plant is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. The facility has been occupied by Russian troops for over a year.
