Chancellor Olaf Scholz does not see Russian President Vladimir Putin’s understanding that the attack on Ukraine on February 24 was a mistake. Nevertheless, it is important to keep talking to the Russian President and to make it clear to him that the Russian troops have to withdraw from Ukraine.
