Video: Scholz: Sale of a container terminal to China not yet decided

STORY: (NOTE; THIS ARTICLE IS WITHOUT SPEAKER TEXT.) Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) on Friday in Brussels: “I’ve been planning a trip for a long time. It was discussed and we agreed on the date for this trip. And that is something where we of course talk to each other about what is happening. But this is a trip, an inaugural visit that I am making there. Before the German-Chinese government consultations, it was important for this to take place.” // “It’s not about selling the port like in Zeebrugge or Piraeus. At most it’s about the share, it’s about a stake in a terminal, as is the case in some western European ports and it is indeed possible just one of many of a very large port. But there are still so many questions to be clarified that there is currently no interim result to report.”
