Bundestag President Bas: Against Holocaust trivialization
“We remember”: Bundestag President Bärbel Bas commemorated the victims of the Nazi regime with politicians from Israel and Austria on Tuesday. In Berlin she took part in the commemoration campaign “#We Remember” of the Jewish World Congress. And that is why we, but also other European parliaments, participate of the “We Remember” campaign.”) The Austrian Parliament President Wolfgang Sobotka also took part in the commemoration campaign. He also criticized the way opponents of vaccination dealt with the Holocaust. Along with the Speaker of the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, Mickey Levy, Bas and Sobotka held up signs that read “#WeRemember.” A projector also threw the lettering “#WeRemember” on the facade of the Reichstag building.
