Police break up drug ring
The Spanish police have hit a ring of drug smugglers. Together with the French drug police and EUROPOL, she arrested eleven men who are said to have smuggled hashish and marijuana on a large scale into France. The arrest of nine other gang members in France is still pending. Four helicopters, several trucks and cars as well as four firearms were confiscated during the raid. The gang allegedly used them to transport the drugs from Spain to France. 2.4 tons of hashish and 112 kilograms of marijuana were also seized.
The gang is said to have smuggled marijuana and hashish into France using helicopters, among other things.
