Peru: First the earth shakes, then comes the flood
Pictures of the devastation from northern Peru. Just a few days earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 had shaken the Utcubamba region, followed by heavy rains with heavy floods and mudslides. The rescue workers tried to help the people on Friday, but the residents were desperate. “The river has covered everything with mud. We don’t know where.
