New York Fire Department wants to stop the city’s vaccination mandate
Protests in New York on Thursday: The US city’s firefighters union calls on a state court to suspend a vaccination mandate issued by Mayor Bill de Blasio. Accordingly, around 50,000 city employees are required to be vaccinated by Friday. If they fail to do so, they will be put on unpaid leave. President of the Uniformed Firefighters Association, Jim Mccarthy: “We got to every call. Our members were exposed to Covid. Many of our people became seriously ill.
