Video footage showed them narrowly missing the king and bursting onto the pavement. Charles and his wife Camilla reacted a bit irritated, but then continued with the program. Many onlookers had gathered on the streets to take a look at the royal couple. There was also much applause and kind words for Charles and Camilla. The suspected thrower was arrested. According to local media reports, he wanted to use his action to protest the royal family’s handling of the country’s colonial past.
