James Webb Telescope has reached its target
Joy at the space researchers of Nasa. Because the James Webb space telescope has reached its goal, as reported by the US space agency on Monday. Accordingly, the telescope is in a position that is around 1.6 million kilometers from Earth. It should provide insights into the early period after the Big Bang around 13.8 billion years ago. According to the authority, the cost of the telescope was around 8.8 billion euros. But before the first data can be delivered, the mirrors, among other things, have to be precisely aligned. The James Webb Space Telescope is a joint project by NASA, the European ESA and the Canadian Space Agency.
The telescope is now around 1.6 million kilometers from Earth.
