Video: Italy: Police find more than 80 weapons in drug lord villa

STORY: Weapon discovery in southern Italy. Italian police seized a large arsenal of weapons at the home of Raffaele Imperiale, a jailed mafia boss. He previously made headlines for owning two stolen Vincent Van Gogh paintings. According to the Naples prosecutor, the more than 80 weapons were hidden under a garage floor of Imperial’s house, including three Kalashnikov rifles, a grenade and more than 5,000 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, as well as bulletproof vests with police prints. Imperiale is considered a key figure in the international drug trade and money laundering and has close ties to the Camorra Mafia in the Naples area. He was arrested in Dubai in 2021 and extradited to Italy the following year.
