Aurélien Tchouaméni put the French team on the right track. The Real Madrid midfielder opened the scoring this Thursday, September 7, against Ireland, in the 19th minute, with a wonderful strike curled around 25 meters from the Irish goal. The Blues won against the Irish at the Parc des Princes (2-0), for the fifth day of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Three goals for the France team
The former Bordeaux player thus signs his third goal in the Blues jersey. The latest is the one registered against England, during the quarter-final of the World Cup (2-1 victory for Didier Deschamps’ players). The two are noticeably similar otherwise.
The French, who have five victories in as many matches, are almost assured of being qualified for the next Euro 2024.
