Former New York Governor Cuomo will not face kissing charges
Former New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo will not be charged on charges of kissing two women against their will. Despite credible evidence, the allegations would not meet the legal requirements for an indictment, said the responsible public prosecutor on Tuesday. The Democrat resigned in August on allegations of sexual harassment. A month-long investigation found that Cuomo had sexually molested eleven women. The 63-year-old Cuomo made a name for himself in particular during the coronavirus pandemic in the United States. There has been repeated speculation about a presidential candidacy.
There was not enough evidence for a trial, the prosecutor said.
