Explosion: Accident with dead people on the A45
Sad record of an accident. Two people were killed in an explosion at the Langen-Bergheim motorway service station on the A45 on Monday. Felix Geis is spokesman for the police in Southeast Hesse. “Shortly after 12 p.m., a witness reported an explosion in the area of the petrol pumps. A short time later, there was a fire in the area as well. As of now, two cars were parked near the petrol pumps, which then burned out completely.” The exact cause and course of the incident are still unclear. The authorities and an expert had started the investigation. “The cause has to be clarified, so the criminal police and the public prosecutor’s office are on board. At the same time, an expert is involved who is also taking a closer look at everything.” There was considerable damage to property at the gas station, and several cars were destroyed.
