Video: Curious pumpkin action in Nebraska

STORY: It looks rather wobbly and not particularly comfortable. But 38-year-old Nebraska native Duane Hansen had his mind set on paddling down the Missouri River in a pumpkin. And with success. He was on the road for about eleven hours and clearly broke the current Guinness Book record with the distance covered. But the venture wasn’t easy: “I went 38 miles down the river without getting up and my knees still hurt. I wouldn’t do it again. If someone breaks that record, I’ll bow to that person because that’s it really hard.” 38 miles is the equivalent of about 60 kilometers. However, according to Duane Hansen, the hardest thing was growing the gigantic pumpkin in his garden for years. The giant that was finally used weighed a proud 384 kilos. There are so many things Rubber boat much lighter and probably more comfortable.
