Bochum sends relief supplies to eastern Ukraine



STORY: Two cities that are linked in friendship: Bochum in the Ruhr area and Donetsk in eastern Ukraine. The town twinning can already look back on 35 years together. So it is only natural that not only do thoughts go to the East, but that concrete aid supplies are also prepared – especially against the background of an intensifying crisis caused by the Russian threat. What is possible is done there. The relief supplies include clothes, shoes, crockery, towels, bedding – but also wheelchairs and medical aids. The transport in the direction of eastern Ukraine should include around 1,100 packages. And the departure of the goods is scheduled for March 1.
