Video: At least six dead in tornadoes in Alabama

STORY: Surveillance camera footage shows the moment a tornado rips a roof off a building in Alabama, US. At least seven people have died in tornadoes and storms in the southeastern United States. The state of Alabama was hit hardest. According to the authorities, at least six people died there. The hurricane hit the town of Selma on the Alabama River particularly hard. Dozens of houses there were destroyed or badly damaged. Rescuers were busy clearing fallen trees and searching for people in need of help. Citizens were asked not to go outside. Children should not leave schools. People here are shocked: “I got in the bath and then the tornado came. I mean, it just came and went. It hit the trailer and everything is just gone.
