Around 100 Santa Clauses on motorbikes through Berlin
Dozens of Santa Clauses and Christmas angels drove their colorful motorbikes across Berlin on Saturday. In this way, among other things, they wanted to bring joy to children and raise awareness for people in need, to whom donations are brought. Because the non-profit association “Santa Claus on Road eV” organizes the so-called “Berlin Christmas Bike Tour” every year on the Saturday before the third Advent. Two gift wagons were there and were escorted by the bikers, who distributed their gifts to several social institutions on Saturday. Christmas angel Silvia describes the action and remembers how it all started: “It’s a great social institution that Mr. Masche (?) Has been doing for 24 years. And he started once, there were three motorbikes. And now see it has become an abundance. And when you hand it over, you get goose bumps and you can’t describe it, you have to experience it yourself.
