Bohm was born Uwe Grossmann in 1962 and was the adoptive son of director Hark Bohm. Uwe Bohm’s wife Ninon confirmed her husband’s death on her Instagram profile: “It is with infinite sadness that we announce the passing of my husband, my son’s beloved father and the great actor Uwe Bohm.”
