The young woman of today, 19 years old, is one of these “millions of victims of school bullying” of whom she now wants to be one of the “speakers”, propelled into the light of the Miss France competition. “I know that when you go through all this, it’s complicated to see the end. If I can be a support, I would have already won everything,” confides the one who will parade under the sash of Miss Côte d’Azur, Saturday evening on TF1.
“This is what made me”
Karla Bchir would like to serve as an “example” to all those young people who, like her, may have thought at one point in their life: “the world is against us”. “In the end, that’s what made me,” she explained to 20 minutes, a few days before the election of the one who will succeed Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023. This is what makes the woman I have become today and I am proud of it. Proud of the journey I have accomplished so far. »
It is also about its origins. The young woman is still “very family”, with whom she likes to spend “as much time as possible”. Notably his Franco-Belgian mother and his Franco-Tunisian father, a former coachbuilder who passed on to him the virus of everything that rolls. Passionate about motorsport, Miss Côte d’Azur explains that she “was entitled, every Sunday, to Turbo and all other broadcasts.
“And I always watch F1, the Andros trophy. I even started driving on the circuit,” says the woman who plans to become a real estate agent. “Since I was little, I have loved beautiful houses, beautiful places. It must be said that we are quite spoiled in this regard on the Côte d’Azur. Friends of my parents worked there and I did my third year internship in an agency. »
“Bring the crown home anyway”
Currently trained in these professions, she nonetheless remains interested in those on the stage, towards which the Miss France competition could direct her. “Making cinema or anything else, of course that would interest me,” she assures 20 minutes. I discovered a real passion during rehearsals. After the show, I would like to start taking acting classes and even dance classes, whatever the outcome of this adventure. » Which she obviously hopes for the most positive.
“If I’m here, it’s to still bring the crown home,” she smiles. In any case, it would be an achievement: it’s been a (real) time since Miss Côte d’Azur won the prize.
