The Mont-de-Marsan prosecutor Olivier Janson gave a press conference this Thursday giving many details on the context of the gunshot wound to Kendji Girac which occurred on Monday.

During this conference, the prosecutor shed light on what happened in the caravan where Kendji Girac was shot in the chest, remaining silent on no details.
He explained that the singer had “in a way, he faked a suicide after an argument with his partner. He also mentioned the state of the singer, who was very drunk at the time of the facts, and that, according to his partner , he sometimes took cocaine “once or twice a week”.
“He regrets to all those who supported him during all these years and whom he hopes to see again quickly, that this event occurred” also indicated the prosecutor, specifying with a smile: “I am stepping out of my role as prosecutor a little , I’m not his manager either.”
